Joanna Mock Obituary

Joanna Lynne Mock, 76, of Middleburg, FL, formerly of Beaufort, SC, passed away September 25, 2012. She was born in New Castle, WY to parents Archie J. and Kate Kipping Burnell on July 12, 1936. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Fleming Island, FL. She was a loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Leonard R. "Lenn" Mock; sons, Michael W. (Maria) Mock and Timothy P. Mock; daughters, Deborah A. Garmon and Patricia L. (Paul) Hagan; brother-in-law, Donald Z. Mock; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Monday evening, Oct. 1, 2012 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Berean Baptist Church, 4459 U.S. 17,  Fleming Island, FL 32003. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Please sign the family's online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com. I am sorry to hear about your loss of Joanna. We have some wonderful memories of all of you living next door to us on Naval Hospital in Beaufort. My mother talks of those times often. My father passed away 4 years ago in May. May you remember your mother in all the wonderful memories you share with her. Our prayers are with all of you now.
