Katie M. Jones

Katie M. Jones, 97, of Beaufort, S.C., died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S.C. She was born in Lyons, Ga. a daughter of the late Franklin Quincy and Beulah Cochran Jones. She loved everyone and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Katie is predeceased by six brothers, Emory, Garland, Troy, Wilkie, Russell and Forrest. She is survived by a sister, Doris Cowart of Henager, Alabama and a sister-in-law, Christine Jones of Beaufort, S.C.; 4 nieces and 7 nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Copeland Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
