Lawrence Edmondson Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" Edmondson Lawrence "Larry" Edmondson, age 80, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Kettering, OH died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Mr. Edmondson was born on December 19, 1937 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Howard and Josephine Edmondson. He began his formal education at the University of Dayton where he earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. He later earned his MBA from Xavier University. He worked with GM (EDS) for over 30 years, retiring as a Systems Analyst. He was a member of the Toms Club in Dayton. Outside of work Larry enjoyed bowling, bocce, but most importantly being with his family. For many years he enjoyed vacationing with his family at Hilton Head Island. Mr. Edmondson is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Edmondson; sons, Dave Edmondson (Anita) and Greg Edmondson (Susan); and grandchildren, Hailey, Quinn, Cassidy, and Gabriel. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Drive, Bluffton, SC 29909. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Capital Needs Fund, Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 Saint Gregory Drive, Bluffton, SC 29909.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I am a cousin to Larry who lives in Texas. My sister-in-law, Beverly Kramer, saw the obituary in the newspaper and called me. My mother was Beau Kramer, a sister to Larry's Dad, Howard. It's been a long time since I've seen Larry and Dottie, but my sincere condolences go out to the family.
