Lucy Brown Grice Lucy Brown Grice, 67, of 50 Capehart Circle, Burton, S.C., formerly of Greenville, S.C., died Thursday May 8, 2008 at her residence. Born in Williamston, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Owen Bowen, Mrs. Grice was retired from Union Carbide and had resided in Burton for the past 21 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her husband, Bobby R. Grice of the home; two daughters, Robbie L. Rogers and her husband Bobby of Greenville, S.C.; Rhonda D. Grice of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Evelyn Bowen of Williamston, S.C. and Dereline Shorts of Lyman, S.C.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and her beloved pets, Buddy and Ginger. An informal memorial service was held on Sunday, May 11 at the residence. Memorials may be made to United Hospice, 1605 North Street, Beaufort, S.C. 29902.
