To the Stief Family:

I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Stief. My most vivid and lasting memory of him was the time we spend watching the Phillies at the Stief home during their World Series run in 1980. I remember that the games were much too stressful for Mr. Stief to watch, so he would go upstairs and yell down to us every time he heard us shout or cheer. I thought it was humerous, because it seemed he was under much more stress hiding upstairs than he would have been had he actually watched the game.

My memories are fond- my deepest condolences.

Mrs Stief and family I am so Sorry for your loss. Big Mike was a great guy with an amazing zest for life and one of the most friendly Dad's I have known. I still to this day remember how he "Wowed" our fraternity with his very generous gift of the "TV" for the chapter room. He must have had a lot of confidence that we were going to Study and not watch too much of his gift. He did always live life to the fullest and can say he had a Good Life! With my deepest sympathy sincerely Ed Juliano and family
