I just saw the obit for Dr.Paul Brewer at Copeland's site. I am so sorry for missing his funeral. I definitely would have been there. He was my dermatologist for a few years. He was always kind and considerate. I was amazed at his memory of my medical history there up to about year before he left the practice. Surely, he now rejoices in his heavenly reward. Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord. May perpetual Light shine upon him. My sincere condolences to his family. I'm sure the past few years have been a heart-breaking challenge. He will be missed.

I am just heartbroken to learn of Paul´s passing. Many of my fondest memories of med school include Paul - his sweet, self-effacing demeanor, his constant smile, and such a sense of humor. He got me through a lot of the drudgery of those pre-clinical years. I will never forget him.
To his family I share my deepest condolences. How blessed he was to have you beside him. How blessed you are to have shared in his remarkable life.

Paul was a classmate of mine at UVA med school class of 1984. He was a friendly and kind soul with a quick smile. What a loss! So sorry to hear of his demise, we missed him at our recent 40th reunion.

To Christine and family,
I am so sorry to hear the news about Paul's passing, and for all he has been through these past few years. Paul called me a few years ago to let me know what he was going through, and my heart has been with him and you all since then. He was so fortunate for him that you, Christine, and your sons were with him through this.
Paul was one of my two closest friends in medical school at UVA, as we were study partners for those years, and he was always fun to be with, and also smart and kind. I was honored to be at your wedding many years ago, along with our mutual friend Mike Fallon, which was a lovely celebration and day.
When you, Christine, and Paul came back to UVA for fellowship training it was wonderful to see Paul often, and it was great to share a few patients with Paul related to his dermatology practice in Beaufort. It was clear that Paul was loved by his patients for his caring and expert care.
He was a dear friend, and there is a new hole in my heart with his passing.
Warm regards to you all,
- Craig Slingluff

Dr. Brewer was our much loved doctor for over 20 years to me and my husband Reggie. He was with Reggie in memory care and we adored him. He was a treasure and we were blessed to call him friend all these years.

Please accept my condolences. Paul and I went to elementary school together in Clarksdale, MS and were cabin mates at Camp Carolina. Pat and Mike Peay and some other old Clarksdale friends got together for lunch with Paul a few years ago at Abe´s BBQ. I´m thankful for that time together. Curt Presley

I only knew of Dr. Brewer living here in Beaufort for 22 years and working at the hospital as a nurse but I want to extend my sympathy and may his memory be a blessing.
