Alan J. LeBrasseur, 79
1945 - 2024
Lynn, MA - Alan J. LeBrasseur, age 79 and lifelong resident of Lynn, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the loving husband of the late Dolores M. (Canales) LeBrasseur, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, in 1945, he was the son of the late Alley J. and Frances A. (Skwarozewski) LeBrasseur. He was raised in Lynn, attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1963. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1975. Alan worked in the retail business for several years, most recently at Lynn Lumber for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and playing computer games.
Alan is survived by his daughter Alana D. Bresnahan and her husband Luke of Salem and his son Matthew G. LeBrasseur and his husband William S. Grant II of Washington D.C.; his granddaughter Emily D. Bresnahan of Salem; his brother Gerald LeBrasseur and his wife Donna of Lynn and his many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roger H. LeBrasseur, Connie Melanson and Dianne Pomakis.
Service Information: At Alan's request, services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOMES, LYNN.
