R.N. at local hospitalsGROVELAND - Mrs. Deborah K. (Melanson) Blaisdell, age 56, of Groveland, died Friday at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill. She was the wife for 35 years of Thomas J. Blaisdell.Born in Lynnfield, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Donlin) Melanson of Peabody and of the late Richard Melanson. She grew up in Lynnfield and graduated from Nazareth Academy, Wakefield. She received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from North Shore Community College. She moved to Groveland 26 years ago.Mrs. Blaisdell was an R.N. and worked at several local hospitals. She enjoyed reading, crafts, animals and cooking.In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves three Sons, Thomas J. Blaisdell, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Shawn and Derek Blaisdell both of Groveland; and one Sister Charlene Giblin of Mansfield.Service Information: Funeral from Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 10:30 a.m. Burial in St. Jean's Cemetery, Lynn.
