Eva N. Glew

LYNN -- Mrs. Eva Nickerson (Hussey) Glew , 92, of Lynn died Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, in a local nursing home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Vaughn Glew. She was born in Belfast, Maine , the daughter of the late Leon R. and Mae (Freela) Hussey. She was raised in Maine and was a graduate of Crosby High School in Belfast, Maine. Eva loved nature, the trees, animals and the ocean. She also enjoyed gardening. Eva worked in the dietary staff for the former Lynn Hospital . She also worked for Transitron in East Boston and Wakefield. She is survived by her sons Errold K. Glew and his wife Corrine of East Wakefield, N.H., Bradley Earl Glew and his wife Bonnie of Lynn, her grandchildren, Kristin Drake and her husband Christopher of Byfield, Mass., Deidre Pedato and her husband Brian of Woburn, great-grandchildren, Joshua Paul Drake, Natalie Eva Pedato, a former daughter in law Donna Marie Glew of Lynn and several nieces and nephews. She is the grandmother of the late Patrick Glew sister of the late Earl, Leon R. Hussey Jr. ,Annie and Abby Hussey. Service information: Her funeral will be held from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home , 426 Broadway, Lynn, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. followed by graveside services in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park , Peabody at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
