Geneveive Sideri Obituary

Retired telephone company workerLYNN - Mrs. Geneveive J. (Pilecki) Sideri, 88 years, of Lynn, died peacefully on June 11, 2013. She was the wife of 55 years to the late John A. Sideri Jr.She was born in Groton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Pronska) Pilecki. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1942. She resided in Lynn all of her life.She worked at the General Electric West Lynn Plant during WWII; she was also employed by the telephone company for 19 years, retiring in 1990.She was the sister to Alice, Anthony, Stanley, Philip and Frederick Pilecki. She leaves her four children, Richard, Thomas, John Sideri and Patricia Bogart; a daughter-in-law, Claudia Sideri, and a son-in-law, Tim Bogart. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Kiley and Marc Bogart, Amanda, Amy and David Sideri, three nieces, and a sister-in-law, Doris Pilecki.Service information: Her funeral will be on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 10:30 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Directions and guestbook at www.solimine.com.
