James Dee Obituary

LYNN - Mr. James W. Dee, age 56, of Lynn, died Saturday morning in Massachusetts General Hospital.Born in Saugus, James was the son of the late Ashley and Frances (Upton) Dee. He attended Lynn schools and resided here all of his life.He spent over 33 years as a machine repairman for the General Electric Co. of West Lynn. He also worked for Duffy Electric. James was a board member at the Lynn Housing Authority, served on the Board of Directors at the GE Riverworks Credit Union and was a shop steward with IUE-CWA Local 201. He was an avid Patriots fan and also enjoyed motor sports and motorcycling.He leaves his daughters: Casey Binkerd and Shauna Dee, both of Lynn. He is also survived by six brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.Service information: His funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
