Patient counselor at Cambridge HospitalLynn-Jeffrey M. Herbst, age 32, of Lynn, died April 10 at Union Hospital resulting from an accident on Saturday night, April 7. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Michael Herbst of Lynn and Carole (Wallace) Herbst of Lynn.He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and attended Marion Court for two years. He was employed at the Cambridge Hospital as a patient counselor.He is also survived by one son, Benjamin Aaron and one daughter, Sydney Katherine Herbst of Salem, NH. He was the grandson of Gertrude Giampolo of Lynn and Bernice Herbst of Wisconsin, also his fiancé, Kathleen DeYeso and a dear aunt, Barbara A. Sacco of Lynn, several aunts, uncles and cousins.Service Information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. Cremation will follow in Harmony Grove, Salem, on Monday. In Jeff's memory, donations may be made at Eastern Bank, Boston Street, Lynn, MA 01904, under the name of Carole Herbst.
