John Crivelli Obituary

LYNN -- John Crivelli, 66, of Lynn, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018. He was born in Malden on Feb. 8, 1952, the son of the late John and Dorothy (McArthur) Crivelli, and was raised in Melrose. He had been an outstanding pitcher for the Melrose Little League and later was a proud member of the Melrose High Raiders basketball team and graduated from there in 1970. He attended North Shore Community College. John was the operator of the Crivelli Paint and Decorating Company serving the North Shore for more than 40 years. He was a huge sports enthusiast -- Go Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots! In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his friends, his wife Kathy and his favorite canine, "Coco."? He loved gardening; growing his vegetables and had the best season yet. He loved "his"? music and was a secretly avid shopper. He also has a love of animals and besides Coco, he mourned the loss of his other dog "Sabre."? He is survived by his loving wife Katherine  Jacobitz-Crivelli of Lynn; and a cousin, Richard Doucette of Melrose. Service information: A visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the CONWAY, CAHILL-BRODEUR Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Celebration of Life service will be held there on Tuesday at 12 noon with a gathering to follow. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
