John Dool Obituary
1955 - 2023
Lynn - John A. Dool "JD", died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
He was born and raised in Lynn, he was the proud son of the late Robert and Ethel Dwyer. He graduated from Lynn Tech, and was the co-captain of the 1973 Lynn Tech Tigers football team. He also enjoyed running in his younger days. He served in the United States Air Force, attended North Shore Community College, as well as Northeastern University.
He loved the Patriots, Celtics, music and playing the guitar. He lived and enjoyed a simple life. He was one of a kind, who never complained about anything. He was grateful for what he had and the quality time he spent with family.
He is survived by his two best friends, brother Bob Dwyer and his wife Brenda, Mike Dwyer and his wife Lisa, sisters Mary Petersen of Lynn, Jean Emmons and her husband Kenny of New Hampshire, and his late sister Janet and her husband Bob Gautreau. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Service Information: At his request, private graveside services at later date will be under the direction of Goodrich Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923 or on line at www.caredimensions.org/giving/.

He was one of the Wells Place Crew. Will always rememnber him, his sisters Jean and Mary and his older sister Janet who lived on Collins Street. Great memories... great family !!! RIP my brother!!

It saddened me to hear of John's passing. I knew him from Lynn Tech. We lost touch and I haven't seen him since high school. I remember going to his football games. He was a handsome young man who was very kind and respectful towards everyone. So sorry for your loss. RIP John.
