BRENTWOOD, N.H. -- John E. Surette Jr. "Eddie,"? 68, died Feb. 13, 2017 at his home in Brentwood, N.H. He was born Jan. 2, 1949 in Lynn , son of the late John E. Surette Sr. and Marion Alice (Muise) Surette. Eddie grew up in Lynn and graduated from Essex Agricultural School . He served in the U.S. Navy for several years, stationed in Maryland where he specialized in computers. He was employed 30-plus years with Fiduciary Trust in Boston , and later owned and operated Brair Professional Services in Brentwood, N.H., for 20 years. He resided in Brentwood, N.H., since the late 1970s. He is survived by his longtime companion, Stavros Stefanis; his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Perez and Pablo Perez; son and daughter-in-law, John E. Surette III and Kerri Surette; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Denise Schiavo and Nicholas Schiavo, sister, Jane Adolph; brother and brother-in-law, Darren Surette and Michael Murphy, and three nephews. Predeceased by his partner, William "Bill"? Clairville, and a sister, Marjorie Kokoras. Service information: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at the BREWITT Funeral Home , 9 Pleasant St., Epping, N.H. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H., at a later date. Flowers are acceptable. Brewittfuneralhome.com .
