Wife of former deputy superintendent of Lynn schoolsLYNN-Margaret A. (Cudihy) Marks, of Lynn, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of former Deputy Superintendent of the Lynn Schools, the late James J. Marks and the daughter of the late Edward Cudihy and his wife, the late Margaret (Daily) Cudihy. Born, raised, and educated in Marblehead, she attended Lesley University and taught at the Elbridge Gerry School in Marblehead. She was an active member of the St. Maria Goretti Guild, and avid reader and for many years, a member of the North Shore Music Theatre.She is survived by her five sons, James of Naples, Florida, Richard and Bernadette of Bonita Springs, Florida, Terrence and Nancy of Lynn, John and Ellen of Boxford, and Michael of Lynn, eleven grandchildren: Kimberly Marks of Marblehead, Patricia Stephan of Pennsylvania, Katherine Schrock of New York, James Marks of New York, Kevin Marks of Kentucky, Cynthia Donovan, Michael Marks, and Christine Geaney all of Lynn, Kathryn Williamson of New Jersey, Sarah Marks of Washington, D.C., and Meghan Marks currently serving in Kuwait. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward Cudihy, the late Elizabeth Hawco, the late John Cudihy, the late Mary Richards, and the late Catherine Norton.Service Information: Her private funeral will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Marblehead. Interment will be at the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Marblehead. Arrangements are under the direction of the Solimine Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home 67 Ocean St. (RTE1A), Lynn.
