Lynn - Maria "Grace" Minichillo, 84, of Lynn, passed away Friday, February 18, at the NSMC- Salem Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Luigi Minichillo, who passed away in 2002.

Maria was born is Volturara Appula, Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Giuseppina Ricci. She was raised and educated in Italy before immigrating to the United States.

Prior to her retirement she had worked as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, most importantly being surrounded by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Michael Minichillo and his wife Sherri of Lynn, Joanne Minichillo and her husband Jeremy Keohane; her sister-in-law, Maria DeSantis; her nephew Joseph DeSantis and his wife Shari; her niece Ria Convery and her husband Edward Convery, and many friends. She was predeceased by her siblings are Giuseppe Ricci, Concettina Ruo, Michelina Ricci.

Service Information: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 24, from 8A.M. – 9:30A.M. at the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, Boston St., Lynn at 10A.M.
