Nursing assistantLynn-Mrs. Mary C. (Furey) Doucette, 77 years of Lynn died Friday in the Kaplan Hospice House after a long illness. She is the wife of Mr. Robert E. Doucette. She was born in Lynn, raised in Lynn and lived in Lynn all of her life. She attended Lynn schools. She was employed as a nursing assistant at the former Lynn Hospital and as a nursing assistant in the Emergency Room.She was an active parishioner at St. Pius V Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister and former member of the Parish Pastoral Council.. She also was a life time member of the DAV Chapter 64 Auxiliary.In addition to her husband with whom she shared 37 years she leaves 3 sons: Victor LeBlanc of Swampscott, Philip LeBlanc Bowen of East Dover VT, Joseph LeBlanc of Lynn, 3 daughters: Marilyn Norman of Richmond VA, Julie Forgione of Nahant, Lisa Morin-Plante of Lynn. 10 stepchildren: Edward Carter of Worcester, Jane Barber of Lynn, George Doucette of Lynn, Brian Doucette of Lynn, Richard Doucette of Virginia Beach VA, Ellen Redfern of Atkinson, NH, Robert Doucette of Destin FL, Kevin Doucette of Lynn, John Doucette of Lynn and Patrick Doucette of Bedford. 2 sisters: Dorothy Haggerty of FL, Helen Santarsiero of PA, 1 brother: Herbert Furey of FL. She also leaves 43 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is the former wife of the late George LeBlanc and sister of the late Charles Furey and Florence Smith.Service Information: Funeral from the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 to 8 PM. Donations may be made to St. Pius V. Church 215 Maple Street , Lynn, MA 01904.
