Pamela Adams Obituary

Pamela E. Adams, 63
1960 - 2024
Lynnfield - Pamela E. Adams, beloved wife of Maura P Lynch of Lynnfield Ma, passed away peacefully March 31, 2024 with dignity and grace after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, just shy of her 64th birthday. Pam was born in Beverly, daughter of the late Edward J. Adams and Marjorie E. (Hooper) Adams of Florida. She attended Beverly Schools and graduated from Beverly High School, Class of 1978. Pam will be missed especially by her wife, and partner in crime for 37 years, Maura P. Lynch of Lynnfield, her siblings Cynthia L Adams, Edward J. Adams and Jonathan W. Adams all of Florida. Her niece, Attorney Danielle C. Adams and her wife Nina of Lynnfield, her nephews Max T. Lang and Grant A. Lang of Lynnfield, Sam Verro of Danvers, and Jeremy E. Adams of Florida. Her sister-in-law, Karen E Lang of Lynnfield Ma, and her very best friend, Elizabeth Verro of Danvers.
Pam lived a very full life starting at a young age. She was a former black belt competitor in judo. She claimed the gold medal at the US National Championships Chicago in 1978. Pam was the winner of the National Junior Olympics and the National High School Championships in 1976. Pam also won a gold and silver medal in the US National Championships. She trained at the Massasoit Judo School, and trained under the professionalism of Jimmy Pedro Sr.
Her love of sports stayed with her for a lifetime. She was an excellent skier and loved the places it took her. Of course, as a lifelong NY Giant fan she watched the many years of heartbreak and jubilation!
In her spare time, she LOVED her gardens and would fuss with pride and joy every season. Pamela was a kind and generous soul, always putting others' needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her laugh, warm personality and of course, Pam's Fireside chats during Covid, which helped many cope through a dark time. Pam made connections everywhere she went and in her ever-friendly way never failed to put a smile on your face. She was so respectful of everyone.
Pam loved her working days at West Lynn Creamery, where lifelong friendships were made as well as her time as Vice President of Strategic Claims Management, where she retired in 2020.
As we bid farewell to Pam, we reflect on the joy she brought into our lives and the indelible impact she made on the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy will continue to inspire us, and her memory will be cherished for generations to come. Pam Adams' life was a journey of purpose, kindness, and laughter, and though she has left this world, the stories and memories will remain as vibrant and comforting as ever. Pam's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Service Information: At Pamela's request, funeral arrangements are private, and a celebration of Pamela's life will be held in June, details will follow. Please make memorial donations in Pam's name to the Northeast Animal Shelter 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970 Guest book at parkermemorialfuneralhome.com

I´m deeply sorry to hear of Pam´s passing. I graduated with Pam at Beverly High. I have wonderful memories of Pam, especially her sense of humor and her wonderful personality. She always made me laugh! During covid I often tuned into her fireside chats on fb and was transported back to that fabulous sense of humor and positive energy that was her signature. May she RIP
