Patricia C. Pollard

Former Hales Waters investment bankerHARTSDALE, N.Y. - Patricia C. Pollard of Hartsdale, N.Y., formerly of Scarsdale, N.Y. and Lynn, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 10, 2011 after a short illness with Lymphoma.She was born in Lynn on April 2, 1922 and was the daughter of James and Marion Connor of Lynn.She was a graduate of Burdett College with high honors and was employed by Hales Waters investment bankers in Boston.She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Stanley, and four children, Meredith Pollard, Iowa, Beverly Carlock, Hartsdale, N.Y., Stanley (Lee) Pollard, White Plains, N.Y., Mary Elizabeth (Holly) Walker, Clearfield, Pa.She is also survived by six grandchildren, Emily Ferguson, Portland, Oregon, Alexander Carlock, Framingham, Tara Pollard, New York City, Megan Pollard, New York City, Dan Michael, Clearfield, Pa. and Paige Michael, Clearfield, Pa. And one great grandson, Kai Ferguson, Portland Oregon. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews.She lived in Scarsdale for 40 years.Patricia was the president of the Junior Division of the Woman's Club in Lynn. She was a member of the St. Veronica's Guild of Immaculate Heart of Mary. She was a member of Factotums at the Scarsdale Woman's Club and participated in 30 years of volunteer work.As a 40-year member of the Scarsdale Golf Club she enjoyed bowling and golf. Twice Patricia and Stanley were husband and wife bowling champions.One of Patricia's greatest joys was traveling with her husband to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Carribean. She particularly enjoyed the adventure of traveling on Space A military flights.Service information: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale, N.Y. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. She will be interred at Arlington National Cemetary at a later date.
