Peter Ciani Obituary

Owner of Ciani Auto BodyLYNN-Peter John Ciani Jr. died peacefully June 10, 2010, in the presence of his loving family following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Sandra A. (Dalton) (Caproni) Ciani and the son of the late Peter John Ciani and Mary (Martello) (Ciani) Tyler.Peter was born and raised in Lynn, and lived in Lynn nearly all his life. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and the owner of Ciani Auto Body in Lynn.In addition to his loving wife of many years, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Cathy Ciani and Susan Ciani both of Lynn and Sharon Ciani of Gloucester; his son Peter John Ciani III and his wife, Lisa Ciani of Danvers and his stepdaughter Lisa (Caproni) Watson of Lynn. He leaves behind many grandchildren,and great-grand grandchildren He was the brother of Frank Ciani and Carmin (Toby) Tyler both of Lynn and the late James Ciani.Service Information: Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn. Relatives and friends invited. Following cremation, graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Boston St. In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may send gifts in remembrance of Peter to the North East Animal Shelter in Salem, MA or the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA.
