Enjoyed dancing and bowlingLYNN-Mrs. Rita (Connor) Ayott, age 92, of Lynn, died Friday morning at Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late George Ayott.Born in Lynn on June 11, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Rose E. (McItee) Connor, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the City.She enjoyed life and especially enjoyed dancing and bowling.She was the mother of Judi Ayott of Peabody and of the late James Ayott. She also leaves a brother Edward Connor of Riviera Beach, FL; two grandchildren Cassandra and Seth Ayott; a sister-in-law Dorothy Ayott of New Ipswich, NH; and a few nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ralph A. Connor, Jr.Service Information: The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Graveside Service in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. For online guestbook visit www.mem.com
