Scott Simard Obituary

Scott Paul Simard, 54
1969 - 2024
Amesbury - Scott Paul Simard, 54 of Amesbury MA died unexpectedly on February 29, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1969 in Lynn MA to the late Robert & Marilyn (Sutley) Simard. He is also predeceased by his brother, Gerald. After losing his mother at a young age, his father married Ramona (Pearl Donato), who raised him & his brothers as one of her own.
Growing up, he would vacation at his family's lake home in Maine. He enjoyed playing cribbage with his grandfather & sister after holiday dinners. He found a passion with sports, including the swim team at Lynn English, where he graduated from. He treasured taking long motorcycle rides with his father.
Upon graduating, he had several jobs before landing a lengthy career with Avnet which brought him to Texas (when the headquarters moved), shortly after marrying the love of his life. It was there where they had their sons, which were his pride & joy.
Scott loved spending quality time with family & friends. He passed his love of sports onto his sons by coaching their T-ball, watching football on TV, and bringing them to sporting events.
He moved his family back home to New England when the company relocated down to Mexico.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Paul II & Dylan Ross Robert, and his former wife Jennifer Odgers (whom he kept very close with). He also leaves behind his stepmother Ramona, his brother & wife Brian & Christine, and his two sisters & husbands, Ramona (Ginger) & Richard Kowalsky and Cherise & Don Bannister. He leaves numerous nieces & nephews as well as close relatives & friends.
Service Information: There will be a memorial service on Saturday April 27 at
11:00 am at the Cliftondale Congregational Church, 50 Essex Street, Saugus.
