Sr. Stephen Marie Cronin

Little Sister of the PoorPAWTUCKET, R.I. - Sr. Stephen Marie Cronin (Kathleen Cronin), age 76, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 in Pawtucket, R.I.She was a member of the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor for 54 years.Sr. Stephen was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Gertrude V. Cronin of Saugus. She is survived by a sister, Trudy M. Gavin and her husband James of Saugus, a niece Kathleen Torosian and her husband Jack of Lynn, a nephew, Stephen J. Gavin and his wife Kathy of Lynn, a nephew, John J. Gavin and his wife Liz of Grand Isle, Vt., four grandnieces and three grand-nephews, Kyle and James Torosian of Lynn, Katelyn, Courtney and Paul Gavin of Lynn and Eva and Sophia Gavin of Vermont.Sister was a devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus until her entrance into her religious order.Those wishing to remember Sr. Stephen may do so by sending a donation to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI. 02860.
