Victoria M. Capano, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 13th, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with health challenges.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Victoria, known affectionately as "Vickie", was a proud graduate of Lynn Classical High School. An avid athlete, she had a lifelong passion for softball, excelling as a player and later sharing her love of the game through years of dedicated youth coaching.
After marrying the love of her life, Carlo J. Capano, the couple settled in Groveland, Massachusetts, where they built a beautiful life together and raised their three children.
Vickie was a proud and dedicated employee of A.W. Chesterton & Company, where she worked for 26 years. Her strong work ethic, reliability, and positive spirit earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Carlo J. Capano, and their children: Thomas Capano and his wife Lisa, and their daughter Hunter Romano; Maria Capano-Prescott and her husband B.J. Prescott; and Carlo T. Capano and his wife Brenda, along with their children Cole and Caden Capano.
Vickie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. She brought joy to every room she entered and offered unwavering support to her friends and loved ones. Her strength, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Service Information: Calling hours are Friday, October 17, 2025 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Conte-Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown, MA 01833. A funeral service will take place following the calling hours at the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vickie's memory to, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring her generous spirit and love for her community.

Oh Vickie, we talked on the phone so many times recently, but didn't get a chance to say goodbye. We have been friends since junior high school and had many good times together. I will miss you.

Vickie was more than a cousin and friend to me, she was the sister I never had. We brought up our children together in Groveland, and we all have wonderful, loving memories of that time. We will miss you, Vickie, and love you forever.

We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of Vicky. So many fond memories of her & the family get-togethers. She was such a funny loving person. Sorry we will not be able to be there to say a last goodbye to her & pay our respects to the family & give Carlo our love put we are down to FL. As a former Class of 59er, I have fond memories of Vickie. She was a great friend and last year when we had our 65th Reunion, we spoke on the phone. She would have loved to have been there but her health did not cooperate. She was missed,but her memory lingers on.
