Barbara Roesch Obituary

September 26, 1944 - April 11, 2023 Barbara Jean Roesch passed away April 11, 2023 surrounded by the love of her children. Barbara was born on September 26, 1944, to Lieutenant Colonel David Sessions Breece and Sarah Harriet Robinson. Barbara dedicated over 40 years to the Health Care Industry as a Registered Nurse at St. Bernadine Hospital (Emergency Room), San Bernardino Community Hospital, San Bernardino Blood Bank and Beaver Medical Group (Nurse Advice Unit). In retirement, Barbara enjoyed studying and writing a book about Genealogy. She traveled across the United States visiting the many friends she had made through her research. Throughout her life, she made friends wherever she went. Barbara had a deep love and respect for our men and women who served in the military. She was a generous supporter of Disabled Veterans throughout the west. Barbara is survived by her children, Diana Toohey, Eric Roesch (Michelle) and Jacob Roesch; brothers, David Breece and Carl Breece; grandchildren, Wesley Roesch and Louise Roesch; and great-grandchild, Phoebe Meza-Roesch. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her mother at the Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, South Carolina, later this year. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local Disabled Veterans Association. For a life well lived and a life well loved, Rest in Peace, Mom, we love you.
