Charles Kahler Obituary

Charles C. Kahler, 85, of Tucson, AZ, passed away August 31, 2004 in Tucson. Mr. Kahler was born January 26, 1919, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Pomona in 1956. He was a production controller for General Dynamics, Pomona, for 24 years, retiring in 1981. He served with the US Navy for 8 years, 58 months of that in the South Pacific and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. Mr. Kahler was preceded in death by his wife, Helen He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephanie and Paul Kaher of Tucson, AZ, 2 grandsons, Ryan and Brandon, brother and sister-in-law, Edna and Paul Kahler, of Minnesota, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon at Pilgrim Congregational Church, Pomona. Private interment will be made in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who dearly loved him. Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona is in charge of arrangements.
