Faye M. Balvocius

Balvocius Faye M. Balvocius, age 75, of Alta Loma died January 28, 2004 at Kaiser Hospital, Fontana. She was born December 1, 1928 in Ashland, Kansas. Faye was a resident of Alta Loma and a previous resident of Upland for the last 30 years. She worked as an accountant for 20 years. Faye was a member of St. Anthony Church in U pland, and the Upland Travels Club. She was an avid bridge player and reader. Faye Balvocius was preceded in death by her son Kent Newcomb. She survived by her mother Callie McIntyre; step-daughter Carol Dimit and husband, Gary; step-son Philip Balvocius and wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Ryan, Sandy, Philip and Chris; Her close companion George Matus and family. In lieu of flowers any contribution can be made in her name to City of Hope, 208 W 8th St., Los Angeles, CA 90014-3289. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m . Wednesday, Feb. 4 at St. Anthony Church 2110 N. San Antonio Ave., Upland. Interment Private. Cucamonga Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
