Fidel Ascencio Obituary

Fidel Ascencio, 75 passed away on March 16, 2008 a resident of La Verne f or 60 years and retiring in Apple Valley with his wife Lupe. Fidel is survived by his wife Lupe and their six children (beloved David), Gilbert, Steve, Anna, Fidel Jr. & Dennis. Daughter in-laws Elaine, Marti, Marina & Alicia. Son in-law Richard also 14 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Fidel's (beloved parents Ezequiel, Maria & beloved brother Ezequiel Jr., Martin, beloved sister Vera) his 5 brothers & sisters David, Dora, Gloria, Margaret, Ishmael. Fidel attended Bonita High School, served in the US Air Force and Served in Local 398 Plumbers Union working for Ray May Plumbing for over 30 years after retiring Fidel worked for the City of La Verne assisting in the Re-Development department. During his years of Life Fidel enjoyed all youth sports, vacationing and of course all construction hobbies. Services will be held Thursday March 20th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel 570 N. Garey Ave. Pomona, following service Burial will be in La Verne Cemetery Park 3201 N. "B" Street , La Verne. Todd Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements, 909-622-1217.

To the Ascencio Family,
My most sincere sympathy for the loss of Fidel. He was a part of La Verne and a part of an era of our lives that was dear to us. He was a true gentleman in my opinion and he will be missed inmensely.
