George Lopez

George Lopez, 65, of Lakewood, passed away January 15, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. He was born on September 26, 1946 in Orange, CA. He was raised in the Dominguez/Carson area and graduated from Banning High School in 1965. After marrying Rosemary they moved to Lakewood and lived happily for the next 40 years. He worked for Union Oil (currently Conoco Phillips) for 36 years. After retiring he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father and sister, he is survived by his loving wife, Rosie; mother, Carolyn; sister, Theresa; son, Matt; daughter, Marci; and 6 grandchildren. Services will be at All Souls Mortuary Chapel in Long Beach. Visitation/vigil on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, Janaury 23, 2012 at 9am.

We sorry for George's passing but he will always be remembered by us especially at Christmas when we hang his reindeer ornaments he made for us! You are all in our prayers, We love you!
