Ken Adamson Obituary

Adamson 4/25/61 to 1/2/06#1> Ken Adamson, 44, passed away unexpectantly January 2, 2006 at his home. Born April 25, 1961, he was a resident of Montclair, CA his entire life and a graduate of Montclair High School. He was a Pool Service Technician for the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, employed by the District since 1988. Ken was also the owner of KA POOL AND SPA. At a very early age Ken would follow his Dad around every weekend helping with repairs and building onto the house with his "work boots" and "tool belt" (just like dads!). Later it would be repairing lawnmowers and even the motor bikes he so loved to race in Motor Cross. Through the tender love, care and teaching of his mother and father, he soon learned to work magic with his hands and his knowledge to become a multi-talented professional employee and tradesman. In recent years, Ken's favorite pastimes were going on major "Road Trips" on his beloved Harley with his Harley guy and gal pals, or just standing around his "infamous" backyard trashcan bonfire, talking and enjoying the company of caring neighbors, friends, coworkers and other loved ones. Through Ken's magic, family members were also considered friends, neighbors and friends considered family and coworkers soon became dear friends. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Fred Adamson, Sr. He is survived by his mother Jetta (A damson) Ranney, step- father Lynn Ranney; brothers, Fred Adamson, Jr., and Bill Adamson; sisters, Lynn Mosher, and Karen (Wolski) Rock; brother-in-laws, Lloyd Mosher and Michal Wolski; nephews, Brenden Mosher and Matthew Rock; nieces, Katrina Mosher, Michalle (Ryan) Pombrio, Janette Wolski and Jessie Rock, Uncle and Aunt Bill And Donna Stevenson; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his long time close friend and "brother-at-heart", Rob Harbeck; and all the many loved ones that share d in his life. Ken's family was very fortunate to have Dr. Richard Koch of Children's Hospital of Los Angles involved in his life during his early childhood and then again in the past previous months. With sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Koch, the family would like to request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the: PKU Research Program, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Attention: Dr. Koch, 2125 Ames Street, Los Angeles, CA 90027. The family would like to invite those who shared in Ke n's life to a Memorial Service on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Bethany Baptist Church, 9950 Monte Vista Avenue, Montclair, CA 91763, 909-626-4671, at 7:00 p.m. Kenny, we already miss you!

I was baby sitting Ken when Jetta went to the Dr and learned he had PKU, as she suspected. It was such a blow to everyone, but Mom Jetta was dedicated to do everything she could to help her son, Ken.There is a lot more to remember, but not enough room here to say it all. I just want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the family. Ken will be sadly miss by all who knew, and loved him. Former next door neighbor, Ruthie Wright
