KENNETH CHARLES HUTT

Sept. 23, 1928 - June 6, 2011 Loving and loved husband, father and grandfather, passed into ever lasting life on June 6, 2011. Born to Charles and Viola on September 23, 1928, in Blanchard, Iowa, he was the fourth of five children. In 1951, while serving in the Army he met and fell in love with June Whitlinger, his soul mate; she became his loving wife of 59 years. Together they had 11 children, Kenneth, Tony, Malia, Chris, Teri, Kitty, Alice, Molly, Ann, Pat, and Nick; and 31 Grandchildren. They were his greatest joys. His playful sense of humor was evident and necessary as he raised his large family. He charmed everyone, from his childrens' friends to the grocery store clerk, making each one feel important because he cared. Ken was a member of St. Joseph parish in Pomona, where he served as an usher for 30 years. He was a wonderful role model of faith for his family. Honey Hutt, Daddy, Grandpa- we love you and we'll miss you always. But we're happy that you are home with Jesus and your family in Heaven. The Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pomona at 4 P.M., Tues., June 14, 2011. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family welcomes gifts to St. Jude's Children's hospital.
