Librado Holguin Obituary
Librado (Lee) Sr. was born January 11th, 1925 in Hanford, California to Francisco and Estefana Holguin. He graduated from Chaffey High School in 1942. He then joined the United States Navy where he served as a radio man on the USS Concord, and USS Agawam. After honorably discharged from the Navy, he joined the United States Air force where he received the Korean Service Medal, United States Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal , and Good Conduct Medal. After honorably discharged from the Air Force, he enjoyed adventures on a Harley Davidson. He then married Lupe Malacara in 1955, and was married for 58 years. Librado was employed by Lockheed Martin for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed volunteering and singing with the Our Lady of Lourdes church choir for several years.
Librado is survived by his wife Lupe Holguin, two sons, Nick Holguin of Fontana CA, Lee Holguin of Woodland Hills CA, five grandchildren Jamie, Jake, Josh, Elaine, and Emily Holguin, and three sisters Ramona Hampton, Paula Gomez, and Erminia Martinez.
