Linda Harrington Tuifua
December 11, 1949-February 19, 2017
Linda Harrington Tuifua, loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 19, 2017.
Linda was born in Salt Lake City, UT, on December 11, 1949 to John Roy and Patricia Harrington. The family later moved to Denver, Colorado and lived there until Linda was 17, when the family then settled in Diamond Bar, California.

Linda taught at Westmont Elementary in Pomona and Etiwanda Intermediate in Rancho Cucamonga before she finally settled into Etiwanda High School. She taught at EHS from 1990 until 2006. She then worked in the Young Mother's Program at Valley View High School. She retired from teaching in 2012.
In retirement Linda found joy spending time traveling with her sisters and family. She also devoted herself to being the best grandma she could be to her nine grandchildren. She continued to serve and be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Linda is survived by her three children, Suzanne Carter, Maryann Litterer and Benjamin Tuifua and their spouses, and her nine grandchildren, Lauren, Trenton, Curtis, Gavin, Kalea, Malakai, Isaiah, Elijah and Sam.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters and countless nieces and nephews.

I remember Ms. Tuifua teaching choir before school started at Westmont Elementary in 1986-88. She was a very happy person and a wonderful teacher. I recall a choir trip we took to Universal Studios, and her son and I were goofing around with the tricks in the magic shop there. She will be missed by the many people her life had touched.
