Happy Birthday Matt. It seems like just yesterday I got the tragic news about you passing. I think about you all the time man and just want to let you know now how much you mean to me. I considered you one of my best friends that I could tell anything and would do anything to get to talk to you or see you again. You were such an amazing person that had the potential to do anything and that is why God chose you to take you. I know you are in a better place because you are so happy when I see you in my dreams. I cannot even begin to put it into words how much I miss you bro. It meant the world to me that your mom allowed me to select the song that they played at your wake. "Beautiful Things" by Andain the Gabriel and Dreseden Remix on Tiesto's Nyana cd. I was then honored to be one of the pallbearers at your funeral. All the memories I have from when you were here with us and from your services I will keep with me forever. Today is your 21st birthday and all of us are not mourning but instead celebrating the times we were able to spend with you. I have talked to your mom and all the homies today and everybody misses and loves you. Your spirit will live on with us forever Matt and you will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Matt I will see you at the crossroads.

I can still hear Matthews voice all the time when I am around his friends. I can see in my head the way he smiles, sings, and drives. All my memories are not enough. But until I meet him in Heaven, they will have to suffice. Matthew was a best friend to me and I cherish every moment I ever spent with him. Every hug, every sneeze was a moment of his life I will forever miss.
Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Matthew is with you every second of your life now watching and protecting you.

I worked with Matt with the City of Rancho Cucamonga a little over two years ago and just heard about this tragedy. Matt was one of the hardest working and caring persons I have ever known. You are gone, but not forgotten my friend. God bless.

I can't begin to imagine the pain that you must be feeling. To loose a child before your own life ends is not the normal course of events. God must have very special plans for Matthew - ones that supercede anything that we could ever know here on earth.
