April 29, 1931 - February 1, 2022 Dominica (Monique) Elgart Berterretche, matriarch of Centro Basco Restaurant in Chino, CA since 1970, passed at the age of 90 on February 1, 2022 in Chino, CA. She saw a lot, laughed a lot, lived a lot and accomplished so much in her life. She is now seated at God's banquet table next to dad. What a feast they are enjoying!! She is survived by her four children: Mayi Petracek (Chris) (and their daughters, Alexis Snead (Tim) and Kristyn Petracek; Jeanne Berterretche and her daughter Michelle Sorarrain Berterretche and Michelle's son (Damien Kelly); Joseph Berterretche (Gina Marie) and his daughter Taylor; Bernadette Helton (and her sons, Marcus Helton and Peyo LaFrance); her sister-in-law in France, Gracianna Delmas; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be on Sunday, March 13th from 5 to 7pm at Funeria Del Angels Mortuary (13002 Central Ave, Chino). The funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 14th at 10:00am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (12686 Central Ave, Chino), followed by interment at 11:30 at Bellevue Memorial Cemetery (1240 West G St., Ontario).
