Richard Farrand Obituary

Richard Colgrove Farrand
Beloved husband of over 60 years, father and grandfather, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Richard ("Dick") was born on March 21, 1927. He earned a degree in Business/Economics at Claremont Men's College and married Virgina ("Ginny") Farrand in June 1950. Dick and Ginny settled in Glendora in 1958, where they became lifelong residents.
He was active in many groups including the Rotary Club, Glendora Unified School District, and Pilgrim Congregational Church.
Dick is survived by 2 brothers, 3 children, and 7 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held to honor Dick's life on Saturday, September 15th at 2:00 pm at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 600 N. Garey Ave, Pomona, California. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Pilgrim Church Everlasting Organ Fund, 600 N. Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767 would be appreciated.
