Robert J. Dearmore

1947 - 2017

Robert (Bob) left this life to be with the Lord on May 26, 2017. He was born in Los Angeles, CA to William and Florene Dearmore on 12/27/47. He graduated from Lawndale HS in 1965 where he participated in sports and played the bass drum in his high school band. Bob served in the U.S.A.F. as an M.P. from 1967-1971. During that time he married Sharon Murphy and they had a son Dennis. Bob was hired by the L.A. County Sheriff's deptartment where he served for 32 years. During this time he earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Cal State L.A. and was promoted to Sergeant. Bob met his wife Sheila in 1974 when they both worked for the Sheriff's department. They moved to Alta Loma and raised 3 children, Shannon Hopkins, Melissa Cotton and Brett Dearmore. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren whom he treasured. He enjoyed coaching his children's sport teams and traveling in his RV. Bob loved his life as a Sheriff and the commraderi he found with his fellow officers. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love of family.
