In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I was just remembering the good times we all shared when we lived in Venice/Santa Monica. Who would have ever imagined the paths our lives would take? REST IN PEACE...

To my wonderful cousin we all miss you a great deal and in your memory I have written a poem in dedication to you:
My Cousin
People never knew just how much he meant to me and you
They knew him by name, but it's still not the same
His eyes so bright, his smile so wide
We always let him know we were right there by his side
Now he's gone from me and you
Now we have no reason to be blue
We loved him, he loved us
And we have to try not to fuss
He said goodbye and gave you a kiss
Now all we can do is reminis
Why does God take the best to love
Up to that great big world up above?
His memory will never leave
His kind and gentle smile will always be seen
Never forget him, never let him leave your mind
Tell him you love him, just one more time.
Love you so much and rest in peace.

Victor will always be remembered as a very loving and giving person. He loved life and appreciated the gifts that friends and family brought to his life through shared experiences. He was always there to share with family and friends, a birthday, a holiday, their grief, the gift of a newborn child, the celebration of a new job, and even helping someone move. If you needed a helping hand you knew you could call on Victor and he would not say no. It wasn’t always easy reach him right away, and now it has become clear, that it was because he touched so many lives and was there for all his family and friends at different periods of their lives, good and bad. He saw in others what most of us do not always see right away, that is, he looked past the exterior, he observed and learned about the other person, to understand their pain and joy...and with care he quickly worked to ease your burdens or to add to your joy. He has made an unforgettable impact in our lives, and I only hope that I and all of you, in remembering Victor, will always appreciate the friendships and bonds that our lives can bring, as he always did. They were all blessings to him.
......
I will always love you!! XOXOXOXO
