ADOLFO HERNANDEZ Obituary

Adolfo Aurelio Hernandez aka Fito passed away at the age of 62 on November 8, 2023.
He was born on July 26, 1961, in San Jose Etla Oaxaca to parents Adolfo and Celedona Hernandez. He lived most of his life in Calipatria, CA. He attended local schools and graduated from Calipatria High School in 1981. Following graduation, he attended a technical school in Phoenix, AZ, where he studied mechanics.
On January 23, 1988, Fito married the love of his life, Yolanda Hernandez. Fito returned to Calipatria, CA, where he worked for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for 25 years until he retired in 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; sisters, Ernestina, Gloria, and Celia; brothers, Sergio and Aurelio; and by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and abundant godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Celedona and Adolfo; sister, Victoria; brothers-in-law, Francisco and Felipe; father-in-law, Hector; and sister-in-law, Leticia.
One of his favorite hobbies in his young years was hanging out at the East Side Park and playing basketball. He also enjoyed going fishing, hunting, road trips, attending lowrider shows, and most notably gathering with his family to watch his favorite football team the Raiders "RN4L". He also coached Little League baseball for many years.
A memorial service will be held on December 2, 2023, at 8 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Calipatria, CA with interment following at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
