Analy Torres Obituary
Analy Torres, 42, of Ca-
lexico was received by
God on August 26, 2015
while at home surround-
ed by her loved ones. Analy was born to Ma-
ria Acua and Alejandro
Meza in Calexico, CA on
July 12, 1973. She was the
youngest of four: Juanita
Meza, Roberto A. Meza,
and Javier Meza. Analy
was raised in Calexico,
graduating from Calexico
High School in 1991. She
then attended UCSD,
earning her Bachelor's in
Psychology. During this
time at UCSD she studied
abroad for one year in
Spain. Upon returning,
Analy completed the
Masters program receiv-
ing her degree in Coun-
seling from Redlands
University. Analy started
her career as a school
counselor in San Diego at
Morse High School be-
fore moving back to the
Imperial Valley. She con-
tinued counseling with
the Holtville District, be-
fore going to work for
Calexico Unified, where
she offered her services
for over 15 years. In 1997, Analy was mar-
ried to Jorge Torres of
Calexico. They started
their family that includes
four beautiful children:
Jezai (14), Jaihden (11),
Ziahn (8), and Zhaeli (4).
Her children meant the
world to her. She was
very involved in all as-
pects of her children's
lives. The life lesson that
her children received
from her will never be
forgotten. Analy will always be
remembered as a very
positive role model and
someone that was always
willing to lend a helping
hand. She will forever
live in our hearts. As a reflection of her
life, her family encour-
ages everyone to wear
joyful colors to her ser-
vices. Visitation will take
place Tuesday, Septem-
ber 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at
First Christian Church in
El Centro. Mass will
commence at 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, September 9
also at First Christian
Church. Analy will be
laid to rest at Mountain
View Cemetery in Calex-
ico following Mass. In lieu of flowers, Mr.
Torres will be collecting
donations that will be
distributed to Calexico
Little League and Pop
Warner Football in an at-
tempt to help the local
children create a more
positive mindset. Heaven is rejoicing
with its newest angel.

Jorge, and the Meza family,
I remember Analy quite well. When I would go to church with my mom Dorothy Green, I would see Analy and her family. She was a breath of fresh air. Always smiling and reaching out to others in love. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. I will pray for peace and comfort for your family at this difficult time.

Jorge Torres and the Meza Family,
Analy was loved by everyone. Her smile and kind heart showed through to everyone. Her love of the Lord was passed to us all. She went to my church with her husband and children. She is at peace with Jesus now.
