BARBARA NUNEZ Obituary

BARBARA ANN NUNEZ

Apr. 23, 1965 Oct. 27, 2023

Our beloved Barbara Ann went home to the Lord on October 27, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Barbara Ann was born in Brawley, CA on April 23, 1965, to Bernardo Ramirez Nunez and Dolores Valencia Nunez.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Nunez Solorzano maternal; and paternal grandparents; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her parents, Bernie and Dolores Nunez; sister, Bernice Nunez-Villalobos; brother, Bernardo Pedro Nunez; nieces, Melissa Soto, Gloria Solorzano, Jessica Soto, and Bella Lopez; nephews Arturo Solorzano, Carlos Antonio Villalobos, Nicholas Mateo Villalobos and Alec Lopez.

Barbs, as her mama called her, liked spending her free time reading a good book and crocheting, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She never lost her faith in our Lord throughout her illness until death. May God have you in his merciful arms, our darling Barbara Ann, rest in peace.

For all who would like to join us, services will be held on November 20, 2023. Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Brawley, mass will be at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
