CELIA FRANDO

1918 - 2015

Our Mom, Celia Frando, 97, of Brawley, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born June 8, 1918 in Periban De Los Ramos, Michoacan, Mexico. Before her illness, Mom enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Her yard was beautiful with roses all along the fence, fruit trees, and all kinds of vegetables. She was also very creative and talented at crocheting. She would crochet blankets, clothes, tablecloths, and many other things. Mom was also very involved in church. And she set an example for us with her great faith in God. Mom loved it when we all got together; and before we left, she would always give us her blessing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Antonio Arroyo; second husband, Ciriaco Frando; parents, Rosenda Magallon and Onorato Estrada; brothers, Ramiro Estrada, Luis Estrada and Juan Estrada; children Jose Arroyo, Carmelita Arroyo and Antonio Arroyo Jr.; and niece, Alicia Pelayo She is survived by her sons, Eliseo Arroyo, Jesse Arroyo, Ciriaco Frando Jr., Carlos Frando; daughters, Celia Bazan and Rosa Mireles; daughters-in-law, Frances Arroyo, Yolanda Arroyo and Diana Galarte; son-in-law, Albert Bazan; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December, 27, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. and with rosary at 7 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. Mass will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery.
