Charles "Chuck" David Cliff, 72, of Holtville, CA, passed away on June 12, 2025. He was born on October 8, 1952, in Brawley, CA, to Lilian Christine Guthrie and Melvin Cliff.
Chuck was a loving, driven, and generous father, husband, and friend whose vibrant spirit and steadfast dedication left a lasting mark on the Holtville community. A proud Army veteran who served in Germany, he carried his sense of duty and honor into every aspect of his life. Chuck built a cherished life with his beloved wife, Zee, whom he married on June 23, 1973, creating a strong foundation for their family. As the visionary entrepreneur behind Chuck Cliff Irrigation Systems, he poured his passion and innovative ideas into supporting the Southwest region's agricultural heart, building strong bonds with farmers he served. A devoted NASCAR fan, lover of old westerns, and avid golfer, he found joy in the thrill of races, timeless tales of the Wild West, and rounds on the green, often sharing these passions with family and friends at lively gatherings. He was known for his humor, integrity, warm heart, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Stanala Zee Cliff; his children, Chad David Cliff (Angelica) of El Centro, CA, and Jennifer Christine Robertson (John) of Lake Havasu, AZ; and his grandchildren, Jovanna Robertson, Ashton Robertson, Angelina Cliff, and Alexander Cliff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilian and Melvin Cliff, and his brother, Guthrie Melvin Cliff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Chuck's memory.
