1955 - 2016

David A. Pelayo 60, of Holtville passed away on March 25, 2016. He was born on September 23, 1955 in Yuma, AZ. David was a very quiet and calm man, but as quiet as he was, it always brought a smile to your face when he smiled. He loved playing cards, dominoes, and watching football with his family. He was a hardcore fan of the Oakland Raiders for many years. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. David was preceded in death by his brother; Henry Pelayo. He is survived by his parents; Martha and Jose Pelayo; sister and brother-in-law; Cecilia and Paul Fergonise Sr.; nephews; Paul Fergonise Jr (Karla), David Fergonise, Marc Fergonise; great nieces and nephews; Brittany Gillespie, Paul Fergonise III, Robert Fergonise, Alyssa Bostic, Alexa Bostic-Fergonise, and Ayden Fergonise. Fianc; Felipa Sandoval Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Rosary will start at 7pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Holtville. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 9 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church In Holtville. Burial will immediately follow at Terrace Park Cemetery in Holtville.
