DIANNA SUE WATERS
Sept. 9, 1954 - Apr. 6, 2013
Dianna Sue Waters, a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, born September 9, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas passed away on April 6, 2013 after her second battle with ovarian cancer.
Glen Petree, her loyal and supportive spouse of 15 years survives her. Dianna's legacy will continue in her children, fathered by Arthur Eugenio Sr., Crystal Eugenio and her children Kiah and Daniel, and her son Arthur Eugenio Jr. and his fiancée Karin Deol. Dianna also leaves her mother, Patricia Waters who devotedly fought alongside her until the end, her adoring father Daniel Waters, her sister Nancy McBride, her brother Danny Waters and his wife Janet. With Glen, Dianna had 6 step children, Josh, Sarah, Amy, Matthew, Kiersten, Tyler, and 15 step grand children.
After graduating from Imperial High School in 1973, she attended courses at IVC, and established an eclectic career history including running her own successful cleaning business, teaching Sunday school at Faith Assembly Church, instructing a multi-championship winning "Imperial Starlites" drill team, bartending and finally working as an IID janitor/ utility worker for the IID fish farm. Dianna enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, jeep trips with Glen, watching off-road racing and NASCAR on Sundays, painting and most of all spending time with her grandkids. Dianna was a very social person with a welcoming smile and a beautiful heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 11:00am at Faith Assembly- 320 South J St. in Imperial.
Dianna was an avid animal lover and made faithful monthly donations to the Imperial County Humane Society; in lieu of flowers, a donation there is suggested.

Dianna was our neighbor across the street for many years. I babysat her, Nancy and Danny. I later enjoyed playing with her and the many others in our fun neighborhood. She surely is missed. ~ Adeline Obeso

Dianna will be missed by our family. Words cannot express the deep sadness that is felt. She is an amazing person, so loving, and caring. Such a bright smile. I always love hearing her stories and the animated way only she could tell them. She was so strong and brave through her battle with cancer, always positive and never losing hope. She has such a zest for life. I love her very much and I am so proud to have her for a step-mother. She will be a missing part of our family, always.

My condolences to the Waters Family and all extended family members. I lived across the street from Nancy and Dianna and played many hours outside with them, and went to high school with them as well. Dianna was always smiling and happy. God bless her soul, and may she rest in peace. Virginia "Virgie" Obeso, Class of 1973

our love to crystal, art and family. God had her on my mind a lot these past two weeks or more, but life got busy. How important it is to slow down and check in on those we know and love. I cherish Diana's constant smile and joyful spirit, both from her love of her LORD and Savior. I'll try to reach Susie H.

Dianna was a true friend (generous and compassionate). She welcomed anyone who came to her home regardless of race or creed and helped many a friend even if it meant doing without something for herself. In fact, she frequently sacrificed her own comfort for the well-being of others. Her belief in God, work ethic, and her values changed the lives of those who were privileged to know her. May God's love surround your family during this time! We love you, Oma!

Oh Dianna...we made a lot of teenage memories together. My greatest memory is time spent in Rio Hardy with your family...way too much fun! But, as life tends to do, our lives went in different directions. God is faithful to His promises and even though you beat me to Heaven, we will see each other again. And you will be standing there, healthy, whole, and smiling your beautiful smile! Until then...

I am so sorry to hear of Dianna's passing. We grew up together and lived life to the fullest that seems so special to all of us "valley" kids now. We had a great time and Dianna always knew how to live and love.
I know that to say our children and grandchildren our special to us, really is true and helps make the daily fight we fight worth it, she did and I am glad to have known her.
Enjoy your memories of Dianna and may they bring comfort to you at this time.
