As difficult as it is for one to say goodbye to a longtime friend, the time has come. So many shared times in the desert, in the mountains are memories that will last forever. Joyce, Shelly, Cindy and the rest of her family, please know that she will be missed by many as she goes home to join those that are waiting for her. She can rest in peace in the shade by cool waters. Her family was her delight. As time goes by and memories come to mind, I trust you will find joy and laughter that will help to ease the sorrow that you will surely bear. We offer our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy in the loss of "Mom".

A favorite memory of Dixie is the hospitality she and Bobby extended when my mom and I came from Arkansas to visit Uncle Cecil Beal. She always insisted we come for dinner and made us a delicious meal. She was proud of her family as evidenced by the many pictures she shared with us during our visits. She was a special lady and will be missed.
