Elmer E. Hall passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 87 in Calipatria, CA. Elmer dedicated much of his life to his local community and his family.

Elmer spent 30 years working at the Farmers Market in Calipatria, where he was a familiar and friendly face to many. After his tenure at the market, he continued his service to the community at Centinella State Prison for 10 years. His commitment to Calipatria was further demonstrated through his service on the city council, where he worked diligently to improve the town he loved.

A graduate of Calipatria High School, Elmer remained closely tied to his roots. He was a man who cherished his family above all, a trait that shone brightly throughout his life. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like working on cars, tending to his yard, and caring for his beloved dogs. His home and heart were always open, filled with the laughter of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Elmer is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Balancio, and son, Chris Hall, along with his four grandchildren, Joshua Balancio, Courtney Frans, Danielle Hall, and Jessica Hall, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Hall, and his sons, David and Gordon Hall.

Elmer will be laid to rest next to his wife, Barbara, in a private ceremony. Elmer's legacy of love, service, and community dedication will be remembered by all who knew him.
