FRANK LIZARRAGA Obituary

Frank Lizarraga, also known as 'Frankie' to close friends and family, was born July 11, 1978. He grew up in Brawley California, attended Brawley Elementary, and graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1996. Frank was preceded in death by grandparents Joe and Connie Chacon. He is survived by parents Frank and Arcie Lizarraga; sisters Jamie and Jennifer; brother Erik, his partner Vivien, and sons, Anthony, Zacarias and Paxton; Godson Jacob; fourteen nephews and nieces, and one grand-nephew. Frank was a social worker for over fourteen years at IVDSS, and spent the last six years of his career as a team leader at the Betty Joe McNeece Receiving Home. If you were fortunate enough to have met Frank and known him at any time, more than likely you have a story of how generous, funny, loyal, and loving he was. Frank left an enduring mark on everyone's life. He made you feel special simply for being you, and he truly cared about his close friends and even more so his family. He considered all his nephews and nieces his own children and was always there to lend an ear, a hand, whatever it was you needed. Frank, you were a fantastic son, a wonderful brother, a loyal friend, an awesome partner, an amazing father, a knowledgeable mind to pick, and the most beautiful heart you'll ever come across. We will miss you dearly Frankie, until we meet again. Viewing service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Frye Chapel, 799 South Brawley Avenue, Brawley, CA from 8:30 to 10a.m. Burial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, 4700 Hovley Road in Brawley, CA.

Dear Frankie,

It's still hard to believe you're no longer with us. I miss your laughter, your smile, your jokes, and your genuine compassion. Seeing your mom mourn for her precious son, who brought so much joy and laughter to everyone, is truly heartbreaking.

I find comfort in imagining you surrounded by our loved ones in heaven and Dad continuing to iron your clothes :) Not having you here for special moments like birthdays, anniversaries, school functions, and barbecues is incredibly difficult. Even though you're not physically present, we still feel your presence watching over us.

I know I speak for the whole family when I say we miss you and love you more than words can express. You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts.

I love you, mijo,
Tio Joe

Frankie,

You are and have always been my "safe place". My feeling of "home". We've been through so much together...& I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again with you. You have touched so many lives here.
Blakey loves you more than words could ever express. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve instilled in him. Always lecturing him on right from wrong, reminding him to think about others, and to give people the benefit of the doubt. He reminds me so much of you. Over the years you’ve always been the one who took all the pain from our broken hearts; with your big bear hugs, stories, jokes and words of encouragement. Never once did you ever make the kids and I feel unwanted, or misplaced.
Frankie, you loved Cambria, Blake, & I without judgement, without hesitation, without ever holding grudges & I couldn't thank you enough! I want you to know how much we miss your contagious laugh & your witty jokes. I personally miss our long talks, and how you would school me on what Good music was..how you always just wanted to make the kids & I feel loved and accepted. I miss you so much and it's been hard not physically having you here... but I know you come around watching over us as you rejoice with Nana and Tata. Tell them both I send my love and I miss them with all my heart.

We all love you so much Frankie.
Until we meet again, my sweet brother.

It was an honor to know Frank he was an amazing person always in the mood to make people laugh. I could never be mad at him for being late or taking keys home! Lol Frank, you are missed! thank you for all the laughs thank you for always offering to go get me Starbucks or any other craving anyone would have, you had such a big heart! I will never forget our passion for fantasy football and laughing at how people wouldn’t change their players and we enjoyed that because we knew what we were doing LOL! Oops! so many years of great memories; BJM/DSS will miss you! until we meet again.
