Genevieve L. Hernandez born in Brawley on January 2nd, 1928 was called home to the Lord on August 17th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin S. Hernandez and Juanita L. Hernandez; her siblings, Ralph Hernandez, Natividad Hernandez, Faustino Hernandez, Natalia Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez and Bartola Hernandez; and her daughter, Elsie Camarillo.
She is survived by her siblings, Teresa Mendoza and Mary Vasquez; her children, Phillip Basaldua, Bernice Garcia, Ernest Quiroz, John Camarillo, Patricia Camarillo, Emily Avila and Beatrice Camarillo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on September 14th, 2021 at 9:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA and will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
